The objects for which the Organisation is established are wholly charitable or not for profit and are for relief of poverty, deprivation and disease generally, (Including in particular but not restricted to the relief and prevention of such diseases, symptoms, conditions, caused by and associated with a lack or inadequate supply of safe drinking water) among the populations of any communities, regions, countries or other geographical areas, wherever situated, suffering as a result of lack of, or inadequate supplies of clean, uncontaminated and unpolluted drinking water.
To facilitate the supply and distribution of clean, safe drinking water (confirming with all relevant guidelines concerning the quality of water suitable for consumption as may be published from time to time by the World Health Organisation, the European Union or other such organization as may from time to time publish such guidelines) “safe drinking water” to and within the affected areas. To facilitate the provision, and maintenance of such materials, consumable items, equipment, plant and facilities as are necessary for the supply and distribution of safe drinking water to and within the affected areas.
To promote, encourage and provide help, assistance, financial assistance (including but not restricted to the provision of grants) and guidance in connection with the establishment, organization and maintenance of adequate consumable items, facilities plant, equipment and such infrastructure as is necessary to insure the supply of cleaning clean water within the affected areas through developing links between associating and collaborating together with any national regional and local governments, government organizations or agencies, prefects, municipalities academic institutions authorities, societies voluntary, charitable, religious and other organizations or agencies in such areas or otherwise.
To foster, improve, promote and increase public knowledge, understanding and awareness in the affected areas of the benefits to public and individual health of safe drinking water and to the risks to health associated with consumption of contaminated or polluted water.
To promote the advancement of education, public knowledge and awareness through developing links between and associating together with national, regional and local governments, government organizations or agencies, prefects, municipalities academic institutions, authorities societies, voluntary, charitable, religious and other organizations or agencies in such areas.
